1/4 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Molasses
1/2 Cup Milk
1-3/4 Cups Flour
1 Tbsp. Ginger
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
Cream the butter, add sugar gradually, mix and sift together dry
ingredients. Mix together liquid ingredients and add alternately
with dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. 9 x 9 pan at 350°.
